Mercy is an infrastructure and project finance lawyer with Mota-Engil Africa’s business development team advising on projects across Africa. She is currently involved in infrastructure projects at various stages in Malawi, Uganda, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Mozambique, Rwanda and Kenya.
Before joining Mota-Engil, Mercy was an associate at Hamilton Harrison and Mathews where she advised both private and public sector parties on transport and energy infrastructure projects in Kenya. She also worked with Dentons project finance team in London as a visiting associates during which time she was part of a team advising on projects both in the United Kingdom and Africa.
She is an advocate qualified in Kenya and holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Nairobi, a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law and a Post Graduate Certificate in Project Finance from the University of Middlesex.
